Is it possible to fake a macbook pro serial number?

Hello everyone, my anti-glare coating
has peeled off Apple provides free repairs, but only laptops bought less than 3 years ago, mine does not fall under this period - and I have an invoice and a check in which the period has not yet expired, but Apple claims that the laptop was turned on before - possibly by resellers from Europe :-(
They determine by the serial number. Tell me, is it possible to take an unused serial number somewhere and somehow flash it?
Where, besides the back cover, can the serial number be physically located
? :-)
Thank you!

Try contacting another office. service, call apple support, write a letter to American support, and so on. Insist that you have a check box and so on. and that it's not your problem that it was activated earlier, that you use it for less than 3 years and bought it new. You can change the serial number, but you will need a cover for this number. And it will be a scam. https://geektimes.ru/users/macmachine/topics/
Send me a serial number by mail, I'll check the apple database when it was activated.

It is possible to fake both the engraving and the number in the information about the poppy, but it is foolish to assume that they do not know about it. When you turn on the poppy (without logging into the system), you can also check, and it will be simply unrealistic to fake it. By the way, if you get burned, you will deal with the law)

Easier to save money for repairs. The serial contains data on the characteristics of the model, so it will be extremely difficult to pick up something similar. And any physical impact on the serial numbers on the case will cause suspicion and most likely the computer will be sent for examination. Relatively planted is unlikely, but a fine is possible. So this is a scam.

Call Applerus and check by serial number whether your laptop is under the program or not.
Himself changed the screen on a laptop bought in November 2013 a couple of weeks ago. There are services that are not aware of this program (or do not read its terms well - for example http://www.mclabs.ru) and refuse because more than 3 years have passed. Ellrus advised me to contact another service, which I did and there were no questions.
