Is it possible to enlarge an image in Adobe Illustrator by applying pixel dithering?
I came across the fact that when a raster image is enlarged in Adobe Illustrator, pixel smoothing does not occur, it is clear that during operation this feature would heavily load the resources of the machine, but until recently there was a hope that such an opportunity was implemented for export. It turned out that no or I did not find it. In Photoshop, anti-aliasing when scaling is applied by default, the algorithm of which is selected by the Resample parameter.
Is it possible to apply pixel smoothing when enlarging images in Adobe Illustrator, or do you still have to do it in Adobe Photoshop?

Yes, use Photoshop! But a strange question, why do you need to increase raster images in a vector program? You can draw the image in a vector anyway, and then enlarge it as you want.
You need to open the image in Photoshop, do the necessary manipulations, save (not "save as", just save to the same file), and update the link in illustrator. In general, it is always optimal to use a bunch of programs, and not rely on just one. "All in One" is Corel Draw, maybe that's why it's so miserable...
