Is it possible to edit the bios to unlock the processor?

Good afternoon, I have an asus nx90sn laptop in it, I installed a different (not factory) i7-2960xm processor, using turbo boost technology, the frequency should rise from 2.7 GHz to 3.7 GHz, however, it does not rise above 2.7 at all,

I guess it's Bios does not allow to rise higher, please help me edit it correctly

I think it is Bios that does not allow you to rise higher,

Far from a fact. Make sure you have all your drivers installed, I recommend SDI (it's free).
And also make sure that Turbo Boost is not disabled in the BIOS and there are not any energy-saving gadgets enabled there.
