Is it possible to do without phantom power?

I bought a BM - 800 microphone, I want to buy an external V8 USB sound card, do I need phantom power so that everything works well ???

Well, of course, you can read in the instructions for the microphone whether it needs phantom power. But since this is a capacitor - then 99% that phantom power is needed.
