Is it possible to do an OBT for a not quite finished game on Google Play?

We are making a small game for Android, now we have posted it on Google Play and launched a closed beta testing. The disadvantage is that you need to manually search for users, almost by force to persuade them to be added to the G + group and then download the application. An open beta test is another matter - in this mode, the application is available for download to anyone on Google Play and there should be many more potential testers there.
The game isn't quite ready yet. Yes, you can play there, go through levels, but about 40-50 percent of the final idea is implemented. We are actively doing it, but we would like to see people's feedback and some kind of feedback. There are 80 people in the CBT now, but 5-10 of them actually play, and no one writes their opinion.
Are there any pitfalls in launching a not-so-finished game directly into an open beta test? Well, let's say, is there a risk of getting a negative rating for a game or a developer account or something like that?
Who has experience, tell me. Thank you.

Have you been in the industry for a long time? Not every finished project shoots, and you expect good feedback from the alpha version. I don't know what your project is. But this can shoot unfinished only if the idea is really new and hooked, on the example of the forest game, a toy on the alpha version, but in the very first days of the released pledged and unoptimized g ... it sold like hot cakes for $ 10, building up people for testing and releasing every 2 weeks on patch 0.01. They had an idea and good publicity. If you do not have a mega idea and a great PR company, then you want the impossible. The time when it was necessary to make just a good product is over. Now there are hundreds of thousands of such products. Do you want more people? You need to throw more money into advertising, and if not, then your miracle game will go to the bottom of the list and stay there.

The developer console has OBT functionality. Reviews from OBT do not appear on the application page in the market.

Step 3: Get Feedback
When testers install the app, it will automatically update to alpha or beta within minutes.
Please note that testers cannot post public reviews of alpha and beta apps on Google Play. Offer them a channel for feedback (such as an email address or a link to a website or forum).
Participants in an open alpha or beta tester can also leave personal feedback on Google Play.

On mobile phones, they usually do not a beta test, but a soft launch. You take your application, pack it, send it to the store, and launch it only in Russia or some Brazil. Then pour some traffic and collect statistics. Often the application is launched from a one-time account with a different name, icon and graphics, so as not to discredit the name ahead of time. It also makes sense to add a large "FEEDBACK" button, but this may not help either, the most reliable way is to send logs and statistics and analyze them.
