Is it possible to display images from the archive?

I know that with the help of ZipArchive you can unpack archives to the host, but is it possible to store archives on the site, and display images from them only when it is accessed?

jpeg is already compressed. if you zip it, then the volume will most likely be larger.
the price of a stone on the server is higher than the disk space.
you can take a server with ssd + hdd . system, scripts, base on ssd. Pictures on hdd
or for statics are generally separate hosting.
The image can be put into the archive for other purposes, for example, to distribute the script as a single phar file.
