No kidding, I found the best option! I took acrylic thick paint (gouache is also suitable) and with a brush I dripped quite a bit into the indicator. Looks unnoticeable and the problem is solved!

You need to unsolder the red LED, and put an infrared one in its place, the one in the remote controls for the TV, etc.
