Is it possible to develop a map service with a large number of filters?
Dear gurus, share your opinions, please.
It is planned to develop a web service with an interactive map of the city for the simultaneous operation of a large number of users (up to 1-2 thousand at the same time). About 8-10 thousand object marks will be applied to the map. It is assumed that each user, when working with the map, selects thematic filters to display the labels of the selected topic. Lots of filters. In your professional opinion, is it technically possible to implement such a task? Of course, the site should not slow down, freeze, etc. And is it still technically possible for users to add objects to their favorites in their personal accounts and see only them on the map? I would really appreciate your professional opinion.

Naturally, it is possible.
In order not to develop everything from scratch at all, you can arm yourself with this geoext.org for the front-end, this geoserver.org for visualizing data on the server side and interacting directly with client requests, this postgis.net for data storage.
Naturally, on this set of tools, the light did not converge like a wedge.
