There is definitely no way to recover the password (unless, of course, service password-encryption is enabled, otherwise you can).
You can try to change it through rommon, you can also pull the config from rommona. True, the router config will not be 100% functional, you need to re-generate ssh certificates, certificates for vpn, if used, etc.
