Is it possible to convert mirror to stripe in FreeNAS?
Greetings.
In FreeNAS, the pool has a volume of two disks (collected as a mirror). Is it possible to disassemble and assemble stripe from them without losing data, or do you still have to rewrite the data somewhere for a while?
Thank you.

ZFS on FreeNAS does not. ZFS on linux announced this possibility, as did Solaris. However, the speed of this action is highly dependent on the state of the disks and their fullness. It is likely that it will be easier to take a snapshot to a file on other disks and remake the disk group.
in theory, in zfs on linux / solaris, you can safely make the device detach from the pool, and then add it to the pool. but I don’t know about the implementation of zfs in freenas.
