Is it possible to connect a monitor to a laptop via USB?
Hello everyone) Tell me who understands)
There is an ASUS K550J laptop. It has hdmi and VGA connectors I
connected a monitor via hdmi Samsung S24R350 Dark Silver to it. The monitor has 2 outputs: HDMI and VGA. The monitor has a frequency of 75 Hz. In hdmi, this is actually the case, if I connect it to a laptop via a VGA wire, then only 60 Hz frequency.
There are plans to buy the same monitor, but I don’t want to connect it to the laptop via vga, since there will be a maximum of 60 Hz - but I would like 75 Hz)
Is it possible to connect this monitor, but via USB to the laptop? If so, will there be the treasured 75 Hz through the adapter?
Need "Expand" operating mode on windows 10

It is possible if it is USB3.0, which is most likely not observed in this clunker
To begin with, it’s worth checking if it’s possible to manually set the monitor frequency in the drivers, since the monitor supports 75 Hz via hdmi, then it should also pull via vga, this is probably a purely software limitation in the drivers. I assume that 75 is not the limit for him, you can manually try and set 80.
