battery is voluminous, but it is still consumed sooner or later, especially if devices are connected to it via usb.
Let's say a usb hub is connected to the smartphone. Is it possible to connect some usb device (n. keyboard) and charging to the hub at the same time?

Yes. For some reason, my hub supplies power itself when you connect the power supply to it.
