Is it possible to connect a 3840x2160 monitor to an old video card via a dvi-hdmi adapter?
Hello. There are problems with connecting a 3840x2160 monitor to a video card via a dvi-hdmi adapter.
There is a video card MSI RADEON HD 5670 1 GB. The
maximum screen resolution is 2560 x 1600 when a DVI or DisplayPort monitor is connected, 2048 x 1536 (when an analog monitor is connected), 1920x1200 when connected via HDMI.
I have a Dell P2415Q monitor. The maximum display resolution
is
3840x2160
Windows 10 x64 I
connected the monitor using the dvi-D Dual Link - hdmi adapter and the maximum resolution is 1920x1080
. Might need a DVI to HDMI cable

If the video card itself does not support such a resolution, no adapter will help.
