Is it possible to connect 2 or more VGA monitors to the DVR via a splitter?

Hello!
We are planning a video surveillance system of 10 cameras. Since there will be a lot of cameras, then display them all on one, albeit a large one, I don’t want a monitor, and there are a lot of 21 inch monitors in the presence. Is it possible to connect 4 VGA monitors to the DVR via a splitter so that different cameras are displayed on each monitor?

No - this is not feasible in practice (to 1 registrar to 4 monitors and different cameras).
You can take +3 simple recorders and use it only for display, for IP cameras, of course,

VGA is a standard for transmitting one color video signal over a not too long distance (maximum 3 ... 4 meters, then the analog video signal weakens). The color is transmitted by RGB, i.e. in a common shell there are three thin coaxial cables and there are also wires for transmitting a clock signal. In my opinion, such a line is unsuitable for your task, especially if your registrar must record all these video signals. But if they are not transmitted simultaneously, then it is possible to build a switch to N positions at the end of the VGA line (where N is the number of cameras) and view their video signal in turn.

thanks for the answers, are they given from personal experience and knowledge or from assumptions?
