Using Windows tools, it is not possible to change the MAC address of the laptop's built-in WiFi adapter. On Linux, no problem.
Alternatively, you can install a WiFi router and change the MAC address in the settings. The router is configured, as it were, in the opposite direction - the Internet receives through a wireless interface and then transmits it to the local wired ports.
The drivers of some USB-WiFi adapters also allow you to specify an arbitrary MAC address. Which devices allow this - I can not answer.
How I changed the poppy address of the built-in wifi adapter. I tried a bunch of drivers, but the change occurred only on certain poppies. Then I installed the CommView_for_WiFi_6.3_Build_701 wifi hacking program, it installed its drivers automatically. I uninstalled the program, but the drivers remained. now I can change the poppy to any and in any way that is. this is in the adapter settings and through the registry or programs. easier in the adapter settings. but on the usb wifi adapter from TENDA, this option did not work, the program does not support such adapters, but by selecting drivers manually everything turned out the driver came from D-Link-DWA. and now everything is changing without problems.
