Is it possible to change the transmission folder for storing torrent files?

By default, all torrent files are stored here:
/var/lib/transmission-daemon/info/torrents
I need them to be stored in a folder at a different address, which will be accessed by a normal user, not just root. So can be done? The symlink to the folder, for obvious reasons, does not work...
