Is it possible to change the ip address of the router from 192.168 to 191.167 for example? And if so, how?

Actually, the whole point of the issue is in the topic, please do not judge strictly, it seems to me that this is not possible, but I did not find any information

in the router settings. Typically at http://current-router-ip.
Just be aware of reserved addresses 'for internal use'. And these addresses are: 10.xxx, 192.168.xx, 172.16.0.0 - 172.31. 255.255.
So an attempt to assign an address that is not from this range may affect the correct operation of the router.

If the router just stands on the table and nothing is connected to it, you can put any IP you want. If this is a router with tyrnet, experiments on changing IP usually end after it (tyrnet) disappears :)

Are you asking about the purely technical part or what? Purely technically, you can assign ANY address to the LAN interface. The main thing is that it does not intersect with the WAN interface. This is key. Without this, it will NOT work AT ALL (more precisely, the OS of the device will not allow you to do this). If you assign a non-RFC1918 address to the LAN interface, it WILL work, but you will never be able to see this Internet segment.
Therefore, I asked the question: are you interested in purely technical or practice + standard.
