Is it possible to change the fill color of an SVG if the embedding is through the background?

Good day
Interested in whether it is possible to fill in SVG embedded on the page through the background?
It is necessary to implement this exclusively for Chrome
So what can be some crutch for WebKit'a?
Thanks in advance for all the replies.
PS the embedding method is exactly the background, about the fact that you can insert SVG directly into html or use it as a font, I know, but I need svg through the background

@lightalex

Solved the issue using filter
It seems impossible to change specific parts of SVG at the moment, only the overall color scheme using filters
Suddenly it will come in handy for someone
