Is it possible to change MBR to GPT without formatting the disk?

I have a disk with 2 partitions. The disk is in MBR, the system is already installed on 1 partition (Windows 7), and the second partition is empty. As far as I know, it is impossible to remake a pure GPT partition, and without this, Windows 10 does not want to be installed. Any options? Thanks in advance.

It seemed to me that you mentioned "formatting" in the sense of "destroying data", and not in the sense of "partitioning the disk file system". If this is so, then I bring to your attention that advanced partition managers can convert GPT-> MBR and vice versa without losing data (in any case, Paragon and AOMEI know how to do this for sure - I checked it myself, and more than once).
Where to get them? It is not at all necessary to buy and install them in your OS for a one-time need. It is enough, after downloading the image, to create some kind of tool-recovery LiveDVD / LiveUSB containing the popular set of 2k10 utilities (it has these partition managers and much, much more) - this thing will come in handy a hundred times later for a variety of reasons, not only for your current problem.
If you find it difficult to choose, I recommend MultiBoot - I use it myself.
