1. You can become a worthy designer without a higher education, but you need to develop a taste and have the makings of it.
2. You need to have a burning desire and persevere in work, set goals and achieve, work, analyze and work.
3. Large courses or small ones, you need to start somewhere, you don’t have to run far.
4. You come up with a customer for yourself and draw for yourself. Either you go to friends and do it for tea, or you come up with a project that will change the world and again do it.
You know that Steven Spielberg stole letters from a large production company in order to mow for them, like he works there .. But in fact he rented a small office. So you too - resort to mowing like big ones, but only when you are something of yourself as an interface designer. It is also important to develop something, take tools - at least a web browser and study user behavior, so you can understand where they rest and what needs to be redone.
