Is it possible to align a line to the edge of an artboard?

Hello everybody.
I want to draw several figures, but I ran into one misunderstanding.
I drew a line and press align to top, and the outline of the line falls out of the artboard.

And I need the line to be pressed to the edge and not go out of the artboard


. the shape is a compound path, and it will always have a center-aligned stroke

Tell me, is there a way to align the elements so that they do not fall outside the artboard, but are aligned to the edge of the stroke?
