Is it possible to adequately link the Internet connection with PMR radios?
There are many walkie-talkies, there is an android-smartphone with the Internet.
I want the ability of people from the Internet to contact people with walkie-talkies.
As I see it:
A jack-lace is being assembled (a pair of jacks for a walkie-talkie), a program similar to teamspeek is installed on the smartphone, which, based on the incoming signal from the audio input, starts recording what the walkie-talkie receives and transmits to the server, if possible (the presence of the Internet and sufficient speed) is. At the same time, it receives a voice from the Internet and, if the radio is silent, transmits it to the radio, and if it is not silent, then it records it for further transmission.
Of course, you can just use teamspeek, but when the radio is busy or without an Internet connection, conversations are lost.
I would like to use this for all sorts of city quests, when the headquarters is at the computers, and it’s easier for players in the field to say or listen to the headquarters without getting their smartphones, into a headset or a walkie talkie. We tried to use zello, but it doesn’t catch the network everywhere, and on a car where such a bunch of a smartphone and a walkie-talkie would lie, you can always attach a more powerful antenna.
