Is it possible to add another virtual network adapter with an arbitrary IP address to a typical XEN VPS?
Task: run a script encoded by ion cube and bound to a specific IP address.
I haven’t decided on a specific VPS, and I don’t understand VPS at all in general. I didn’t find a sensible manual in Google, everything crap climbs out. I'm thinking of buying a VPS, plugging in a virtual network interface with a specific IP address to which the script is attached. Well, in fact, to bypass the binding of the script to the IP address.
The question arises, does a typical cheap VPS offered by hosters allow such manipulation?

[email protected]:~$ sudo ifconfig eth1:1 89.108.xxx.xxx
SIOCSIFADDR
: File exists
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address
Dummy interfaces have not reached the hands yet.
Here the question is no longer to Xen, but to the OS, inside which there should be a binding in the script to this address.
Or 2 routing tables and source routing mode (such as if the connection is from a specific port to a specific address, then it will connect to a specific IP), you can also do SNAT.
You can add an adapter, but it will not help in solving such a problem.
IP can also be hung up by an alliance on the same interface that already exists.
