Is it possible to add an image to an existing swf?

There is a .swf file, I need to add an image to it, how can I do this?

No way. swf is a compiled file. Source is required for editing.

There were quite a lot of swf decompilers before. Of course, they emulated the original animation quite clumsily, but if something simple, then they coped quite well.
