Is it possible to adapt the kernel to a device with similar characteristics?

There are sources of two devices:
Alcatel 5015D (or 5080, it was adapted to 5015D) and Alcatel 9010X.
5015/5080:
Proc: MT6580
Core: 3.18.19 (on 5015 it was 3.10.72, but one person with w3bsit3-dns.com was able to adjust 3.18.19 from 5080 to 5015 and make it fully working.
Android: 5.1-8.x (on 3.18 .19 work 6.0 and some 7-ki)
9010X: Proc
: MT8321 (tablet, android 5.1 ports from mt6580 devices work on it)
Kernel: 3.10.72
Android: 5.1

Question itself:
How to adapt kernel 3.18.19 from alcatel 5015/ 5080 under alcatel 9010x, which now has kernel 3.10.72 (it was also with adaptation from 5080 to 5015 of the same kernel.)
Stock kernel sources 3.10.72 on 9010X and 3.18.19 on 5015/5080 are available.
I would like to get at least a general picture of what needs to be done.

Before that, I was only engaged in assembling kernels on Qualcomm sd625, and then, I simply added support for modules for the normal operation of all Kali Nethunter functions, and then according to the instructions.)
