Is it possible on Android Wear to temporarily grant access to read accelerometer data exclusively for one application?

Interested in the following question. I'm going to write my application for the clock. Is it possible on Android Wear to temporarily "monopolize" access to sensor data to one application, while at the same time prohibiting all other applications from reading sensor data, including pre-installed Fitness applications / pedometers.
