Is it possible in MySQL 5.1 to set query_cache_min_res_unit to less than 512 bytes?

Is there any way to set query_cache_min_res_unit to less than 512 (half a kilobyte) in MySQL 5.1.x?

Based on dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/server-system-variables.html#sysvar_query_cache_min_res_unit it appears that it is not possible. But if you REALLY want to? =)
