Is it possible and how to use Transcend mp870 as usb bootloader for Debian 8?
To write iso(first disc)...
cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/8.2.0/i386/bt-cd
...tried to use three programs:
1. Rosa Image Writer - after burning I didn't see any files on the drive.
2. Universal USB Installer - gave an error saying that the drive will not be bootable.
3. Unetbootin - the recording was successful. (At least I saw files, including win32-loader)
After restarting the system, autoload does not occur. I guess the problem is that the player resets the "USB file transfer" mode to normal use mode some time after restarting the computer. In the BIOS, the player is visible (if you turn on the usb file transfer mode), but there is no sense.
Tried installing win32-loader. In the OS selection menu, I chose to continue the installation. There, in the process, again, the player was not detected.
Maybe you can (and should) somehow make a regular USB flash drive out of the player? Tell me please.
