Is it possible (and how) to implement hibernation on Linux with acpi disabled?

With ACPI enabled on my machine, I observe the following bugs:

  • xubuntu 18.04 standby issues?
  • hdparm settings not working?

When ACPI was disabled, the performance of the machine increased, but the standby mode died completely.

With ACPI disabled, no way, because ACPI is responsible for this.
There are two options: try to turn it on, put up with the brakes and pick the configs, or switch to a normal OS (I'm hinting at Windows, otherwise you didn't understand last time).
