Is it normal for the type-c plug to get warm?
Good afternoon everyone.
Tell me such a moment, I have an LG Ultrafine 5k monitor with a 90-watt recharge and a macbook pro 16 per m1 ...
The load on the laptop itself is small, and the battery is charged per hundred square meters and only the browser is loaded from the load.
And it is always the plug itself that is slightly warm, and if I take it out and touch the piece of iron, then it is cold, it is the plastic part of the plug that heats up. Both the monitor and the laptop are new, i.e. skidding of plugs and bad contact are excluded.
I saw in the reviews on the macbook about last year's people the complete cord plug melts, it's strange that it is in the area where the plastic point usually melts, there is some kind of fuse or resistor or that it can get warm inside the plug ....
