Is it legal to mine in the Russian Federation by placing a JS mining script on your website?
I went to look at the series on my regional website,
and then the lags began. I watch the percent at 100%, chrome eats. I immediately realized what I had stumbled upon.
As a result, I found a miner where I wanted to watch the series: https://sakh.tv/watch/dominion/01/02/lostfilm/
I wrote to the admin what the hell is this... he rudely replied "if you don't like it, close the tab" I spontaneously wrote that I would file a complaint with the RKN, even without knowing it makes sense at all ... but in the end he commented out the script.
so, is it legal? Server in Russia. Vit without the knowledge of the visitor his PC is under load.

I understand the question as follows:
I found pirated content on the net, but is it being mined on my computer?
likewise on a free porn site caught a virus! Aren't they bitches?
I downloaded a cracked program. Now the whole computer is in adware!
Well, and so on.
The site itself is illegal.
Legal.
I have a counter question for you. So I'm reading your story, but I didn't like the denouement, it's too banal. You wasted my time without my knowledge. Say, "if you don't like it, close the tab"? And I'll complain to the RKN!
It is unlikely that there is something illegal in this, but, as it were .. vidyuha mines slower than ASIC, processors are slower than vidyuhi, javascript is even slower (however, an interpreted language). I think if you fill up a user with ads, you will be able to cut down more money than to mine in such an inefficient way.
