Is it ethical to offer development in Perl?
I work as a freelancer, periodically there are vacancies from people who are far from the IT world, who need some kind of complex solutions, such as a bicycle rental system, etc. Since I only know Perl well, I used to respond to such vacancies and offered to write a system in Mojolicious. At the same time, the moral side of the issue is tormenting - the language is becoming obsolete, then it will be difficult and expensive for the customer to find programmers to support my system. Do you think there are grounds for my fears?

If you write in Perl using Mojolicious, it means that it is definitely not outdated for you. Pearl is only 30 years old - half the age of Kobol, which is still being made.
I think if you write normally and accompany what you write with intelligible documentation, the proposal to write on pearl will be quite ethical.
