What server-side programming language is the most promising now?

Good day.
Want something new. I would like a language where there is a strict syntax, connecting the necessary libraries manually (improved performance), a normal OOP model, some kind of semantics and perspectives for which it would be worth starting to learn the desired programming language.

I chose Ruby. To a large extent, for the reasons described in this article: evrone.ru/why_ruby_on_rails.html
But in fact, I saw the article after I realized that ruby is what I need. You have probably already appreciated the beauty and conciseness of the syntax, compare the sensations with other languages. In general, everyone will praise you now, they will ask why you don’t consider Java or Swift :))

Instead of Go, learn Erlang - it's more in trend.

If you want to learn Ruby, then your choice is definitely the right one. Someone subjectively dislikes this language, but such opinions should not be decisive for you.
