Is it difficult for a web developer to adapt to macOS after Windows?

Question for people who migrated from Windows 10 to MacBook Pro. First, is it difficult to adapt to the system? I didn't have any Apple products. There is a fear that you won’t like the system after Windows 10, you will have to buy something extra (software, including pirated software), although I used it in the store for 2 minutes and I really liked it. I mainly do web development on Laravel, React.js. I am considering a version of the MacBook Pro 15 "Mid 2019 on i7 / 16GB / 256GB. The purchase is expensive for me, that is, for almost all the money, and will be the main working machine, so I'm afraid to make a mistake in choosing. Now I work on a stationary PC under Windows 10 and it's clear that I'm used to it. Is it worth it to take a MacBook, or is it better to look at something cheaper on Windows with the same characteristics? Is there a big difference in terms of working with macOS and with Windows? Is it worth taking a MacBook for the last money? I know that you can install Windows on a Mac (I understand that it’s nonsense, but if you feel like it), can this be done for free or will you have to take a license for 10k?
PS I'm happy to read any recommendations =)

Initial adaptation takes a couple of days with a bunch of questions "how?" and "is it even legal?". In a week or two there is no desire to return to win
UPD. Taking a MacBook for the last money is wildness, as well as investing the last money in something, if you don’t bet that it will beat itself off very quickly. Putting Windows on a poppy is wildness, don't do it like that

The main thing is why you need a MacBook.
In principle, you can run a virtual machine inside and use windows for specific programs.
Maca iron, in my opinion, is somewhat overrated. For the same money you can buy a more interesting beech.
In general, list the list of software, most likely there are analogues, in any case, I have not seen the fact that there is blood from the nose and only under windows.
PS The poppy has the advantage of a retina screen, tight integration with its troubles (XCODE and so on), and of course a very balanced hardware.

Discomfort for the first few weeks. At first, various little things were infuriating, like a cross to close the application on the other side. You quickly get used to it, there is no desire to return. Comfort and all the power of unix with a human face. There is a Windows computer at home, but this is a Boyar PC for games :)

Once you go Mac - you'll never go back.

Adaptation will take more than one week, it may seem that doing the simplest habitual things takes an indecently long time, and if it seems, it doesn’t seem so. In macos, for example, there is no option to create a new file in the context menu of the finder, I thought for six months that it was impossible to 'cut' files / directories and accepted drag-n-drop and so on. Moreover, I switched not just from Windows, but from ubuntu. BUT, will you want to return to Windows later, not even so much to the system itself, but to the devices on it? - Definitely not.
The next point: buying a poppy with the last money is a little reckless if you are not sure that you will beat them off quickly. But it can also be a good motivator for doing so. I would also suggest this option: you can take a 2015 firmware on the secondary market, as the most proven model, as a rule, they are all in at least good condition. You can find a great option while spending 2-2.5 times less money, get operating experience, and if you don’t like it, then you will sell it on the secondary for the same money. You can even take 13 ", their screen is not as small as it seems, if you use scaling, but their performance margin is already on the verge, better, of course, 15".
In general, the web is more pleasant to develop on * nix systems, so yes, take it.
