Is it correct to redirect only some pages to another site?

Greetings
Two sites - old and new. There are good articles on the old one and I WANT to transfer them to the new site gradually, proofreading and finalizing the articles, and after some time the old site will cease to exist. If I gradually put 301 redirects from some pages of the old site to the pages of the new site with modified materials, will everything be fine / correct, or have I forgotten something?
