Is it correct to hide panels or switch to a new screen?

Good afternoon.
It is necessary to develop a login form - registration or authorization.
On the screen placed a choice of type of an input - registration/authorization. When choosing one of the options, is it more correct to hide / display different layers on the same screen or switch to a new activity?

In your case, there is no "correct" solution. I would suggest using fragments instead of switching to a new activity or hiding/showing a set of View elements. Fragments are just more convenient.
