Is it advisable to separate coding and layout in mobile applications?
Good afternoon.
When developing websites, it was normal to separate the coding of functionality from the layout itself.
Now there is a task to write a mobile application. How possible is such an approach (separation) when developing a mobile application (iOS, Android) or are there nuances that make such a separation impractical. Prior to this, mobile development was not involved, so reasoned answers would be very helpful. Thank you.

Any developer should be able to design an interface for Android and iOS, it's easier than HTML & CSS, so it just doesn't make any sense.
If the project is large and there are several developers, then they themselves will divide the tasks among themselves. But this division will not be into "interface-logic", but into functional parts.
If the project is not large and there are two developers, then it is divided according to the skills of the developers.
