Where to start developing mobile applications?

Be a php programmer with deep knowledge/understanding of front-end development in HTML5 and javascript. I want to retrain/expand to skills in mobile application development.
What is better to start with, what is more promising? Pure Java or Framework? Where can I find a convenient and informative article/documentation? Or maybe courses?

Pure Java or Framework?

there are no frameworks in the sense that you are used to in web development and will not appear soon
if we talk about the entry level, then ios is faster and easier than android, I would recommend swift and ios, if there are problems with hardware, then android (I love android and java, but a number problems make development under android much more cumbersome than under ios)

It is necessary to learn how to make layout through RESS, the most adequate topic. There are articles on Habré, you can look, there are a lot of questions. In general, find lessons on Google, many services with video lessons and just books.
