Is it acceptable to use the schema.org element in my case?

1. Is it acceptable to use the schema.org/Recipe element if it describes making, for example, a face mask. There are ingredients, there are different types of times, cooking methods, etc., but these are not cooking recipes? Alternatives?
2. What are the appropriate elements to mark up a list of such recipes?
Thanks for the replies and thoughts.

No, it's not allowed. According to the schema.org/Recipe description, this markup is used directly to describe the recipe for preparing a dish / meal.
For example, the description of the properties cookingMethod, nutrition, recipeCuisine speaks directly about this.
Alternatives, at first glance, are not visible. Look for extensions, such as types from schema.org/docs/meddocs.html , or use more general types.
