Is frontend real programming?
Hello!
Krch I was sitting on YouTube watching different videos, and then I came across a video (10 questions to the programmer) and there the author said such a thing like:
"Now I will answer 10 questions and these answers will be from a real programmer (he is Fullstack by profession), and not from some front-end developer [here he sneers]."
And since that moment, I have been tormented by thoughts that front-end is not even serious programming.
I'm sure it's a stupid question, but it's important to me!
I myself want to do programming in all seriousness, so this is important for me! (I don’t want to do some kind of non-serious business)
Also, given that there are just millions of front-end developers like me and half of them go to a programmer for money, then I generally sad.
So here are the questions:
1) Frontend is real programming?
2) Frontender is a real programmer?
3) Whether it is necessary to go in cycles in this stupid answer?

Our fronts regularly humor on this topic. At every sprint planning, shouting "I'm not a real programmer, why are you assigning such complex tasks to me ?!"
You understand where this comes from: people with an inferiority complex have a need to assert themselves.
If a person with an inferiority complex writes in C++, he declares that only C++ is terrible, all sorts of pythons are crap.
If a person with an inferiority complex writes in python or node, he declares that the backend is real programmers, the frontend is crap. Although what is there difficult on the back? Received a request, made a request to the database, returned the result. The better the base is designed, the less manipulation.
But a person who writes at the front also needs to assert himself, right? For him, God invented 1C programmers. The fact that they write in Russian makes them harmless.
1C programmers have no one to assert themselves, so they spread rot on accountants.
The whole world is a solid self-affirmation, especially in programming, because the brains are polluted from constant intellectual stress. The way out is to do what you like and not fall into the trap of words.
Fullstack implies front-end work, so he's half programmer, by his logic. And projects are different - somewhere the front is such that at least hang yourself, in the presence of a meager server code. And somewhere on the contrary - the site looks simple, but under the hood ... don't worry mom ...
Well, stop watching all sorts of crap, do you want to work or think all day "where is the grass greener"? The employer / client is in the x ... did not rest.
1) Frontend is real programming? - NO
2) Frontender is a real programmer? - NO
3) -
Those who answered that the front-end - programmers - are front-end developers themselves. And they are offended that they are not called programmers.
Also noted in the decision.
1) Frontend is real programming?
2) Frontender is a real programmer?
3) Whether it is necessary to go in cycles in this stupid answer?
Become a taxi driver, since it's so easy to unbalance you. Seriously. Will you shed a tear at the first codereve or what? ))
In general, forget about all beliefs, statements, whether it's cool or not, just do what you love, any business can become "cool" if you give it enough time.
And what's the difference, now they pay more in the front, the same full stack will receive ten thousand bucks fronter 12k bucks
