Do certificates from training sites matter?

Good day. Tell me, those certificates that are awarded after completing courses / tasks, etc. on various sites for learning programming or layout, do they have any weight? Especially if the site is free? For example, certificates from freecodecamp. And another question: can completed tasks from such sites replenish the portfolio?

Nobody needs certificates.
It is only your realization that you are worth something.
You can add anything to your portfolio - no one will check it.
Another thing is that the tasks there are primitive compared to real projects.
