Client-server application for a diploma - what to think of?

Good afternoon everyone. In general, I had a chance to work at an enterprise with secrecy and make a multi-threaded server and a library for it that parses incoming packages. Which subscribers connect to the server, what kind of packets they send and how they are parsed, I can’t describe in the diploma, but I want to take the code in the diploma. Question - what can be done on the basis of a client-server in c ++, but not too simple and banal like a chat? The teacher is silent

Make a distributed system for brute force. Only the topic is no longer new, although in relation to RSA it may be interesting.

An analogue of zabbix, for example.
