Is fast charging (with high current) harmful for Li-ion batteries?

With the release of USB 3.1, high current chargers appeared. For example, the charger for the Lumia 950 delivers 3A and fully charges the phone (3000 mAh) in about an hour.
Is such a load harmful to batteries? Will it shorten battery life?

Well, hardly anyone will reveal the characteristics of batteries to you.
But it seems that charging should not exceed 1C. C is the quantitative value of the current output.
For example, 1C for a 5A battery is 5A per hour. For 10A - 10A per hour.
1C for 3A - 3A per hour.

Charging Li-ion batteries.
Li-ion batteries are charged in a combined mode: first at a constant current (in the range from 0.2 C to 1 C) up to a voltage of 4.1-4.2 V (depending on the manufacturer's recommendations), then at a constant voltage. The first stage of charging can last about 40 minutes, the second stage longer. Faster charging can be achieved with pulse mode.
