Is EJB 3 in Action Worth Learning Now?

Hi everyone, I'm learning java. Core went through Schildt's full guide.
Then I want to develop towards the backend, I want to clarify whether it is worth studying Hibernate and Spring, EJB? If so, is the above book suitable?
