Is DigitalOcean Spaces suitable for hosting images on a website?

I use DigitalOcean Spaces to distribute heavy psd files, and I placed light images for the site on cloudinary / imagekit, because of the convenience of creating transformations.

It was decided to move the images for the site to digitalocean spaces, after which they took noticeably longer to load. With what it can be connected? Maybe they load slowly only for rf, and on average around the world they load no worse than with cloudinary / imakekit, or there is some key difference in the way content is distributed, because of which only heavy files should be distributed on spaces, and images not worth posting for the site?
