Is Debian worse than Ubuntu?

They advised me to install Debian, I installed it, but the guides are only on Ubuntu, as I understand it, on Debian some configs are slightly different, I have constant errors, and there is little information, only Ubuntu is everywhere.

Ubuntu is based on Debian.
Any config from Ubuntu is 100% compatible with Debian within the same program.
Ubuntu has a more stable package base. In fact, everything is first checked on Debian (which gives more recent versions of the packages) and then migrates to Ubuntu.
In the guides, the main difference will be the name of the repository, but usually they write two, for each system its own. But with a great desire and caution, you can use it from another system, I understand that connections and dependencies can be damaged.

Che?
There is more than enough information, the main thing is to be able to search. And the programs - so they generally do not care what distribution - they have their own configs. Bubunta for those who do not want to understand, but want to be called a Linuxoid. Unlike.
