Is coding on iPad a perversion?

Good day to all. I still choose the device to my liking. And I chose Honor magicbook (AMD) for myself. But the thing is, I learned about the iPad . He (7th generation) had the display updated. Everything seems to be fine, but an ipad with accessories costs the same as a magicbook.
By the way, I am a future student. I will study to be a programmer .
And so, here's my question.

  • is coding on ipad a perversion?
  • is the ipad really convenient, as they say about it
  • and in general, does an ordinary student need an ipad?
  • Well, the most (not) important. If you had an iPad and took it as a student, did it come in handy for something special?

It's like wanting to become a professional motorcycle racer and choosing between a simple motorcycle and a cool, expensive and comfortable expensive wheelchair.
Somehow you will be able to ride on a chair and even do “rrr-rr-rrr”, as if you were revving.
On the iPad, there is no way to work in OS - only in applications. Accordingly, you can code either only in the cloud (that's still hemorrhoids) or in some applications - sandboxes. Learn the syntax of languages, get some general idea, and that's it, in general.
Most likely in a couple of months you will get tired of torturing yourself and start watching YouTube on it like everyone else

To learn the basics and have an understanding of programming, I think it's possible. And in general, if it's a matter of size, how about XIaomi Mi Max 3? And so the iPad is convenient for reading and watching movies)0)
