CodeIgniter

Is Codeigniter worth using for a serious project?

Good!
Should Codeigniter be used for a serious project made by one programmer that can be developed in the future?
What I personally like about it: features, easy, fast, not complicated, history, community, many programmers, development cost is not high, one programmer can support, it is active and develops.
PS: Do not offer Lavarel))
Thank you!

I ran through Google and did not find the main thing for the MODERN frame in it:
This is all even in microframeworks, if there is no goal for yourself to grow in the PHP environment as an artisan - quite, if there is still a commercial emphasis in your affairs - DEFINITELY NO!

Developed an online store on CI 2-3, worked on it for 7 years without problems and, in principle, worked if not one but, some things are not very well implemented on it, and getting rid / replacing them is problematic, as a result, I had to abandon in favor of composer and a free set of components: ORM Propel2, League Container, FastRoute, Symfony Console, Twig, Monolog, etc.
I can advise you to make it so that the functionality developed now on CI can be easily replaced with another frame. (DDD, SOLID)
