Is ClearType on Windows bad for eyesight?

Rather useful: reduces blurring of text, so it is easier to read.

As already said here - ClearType cannot be harmful. On the contrary, if you work without it, then there is a real chance to get an occupational eye disease. I don’t remember what it’s called, but at the dawn of the computer era, many had this problem, precisely because of the crappy display of texts on monitors.
