Is Bluetooth HS used in modern devices?
Bluetooth HS (High Speed) has been announced as part of Bluetooth 3.0 for a long time. The promised speed is about 24 Mbps using 802.11.
However, I was not able to meet such a speed on modern (2016-2017) devices that support BT 4.0.+. For example, when transferring, between two Android smartphones (Google Nexus 5X), between two MacBook Pros, etc. In all tests, the speed was about 2 Mbps.
Are there examples of common devices with Bluetooth speeds around 20 Mbps?
